My son started going to Fish Camp during the strange days of the pandemic and thanks to many afternoons at the beach and the lakes has developed a passion for fishing that's still going strong five years later. He learned so much about not only fishing but also about respecting nature and how to be a good outdoorsman who leaves no trace behind. I credit Jonathan Korty and Fish Camp with bringing a truly wonderful new dimension into my son's life, and I am forever grateful.

Korty and his whole crew are the absolute best. They teach these little anglers about a lot more than just fishing. In a sports-obsessed and screen-driven world, I'm not sure what can be better for a kid than to hang out in nature after school or all day in the summer, fishing on the gorgeous lakes and oceans around here. Our kid has the best time, every time - and even when he doesn't catch a fish, he says it's well worth the time outside. My son was a student in Korty’s Fish Camp throughout the Summer and Fall of 2020. His experience in the camp was nothing short of fantastic! Every day he would come home with new fish tales; From catching bass at Bon Tempe Reservoir to hooking bat rays and leopard sharks at Stinson Beach. Even on days when they got skunked, he clearly had benefited from having interactions with new friends in beautiful settings. My son could not have had a better mentor/teacher than Jon Korty. Jon takes a fun approach to each day, and his patience and understanding really resonates with kids. Thanks, Jonathan for one of the greatest blessings during this challenging time.  Korty’s Fish Camp launched my son into a mad passion for fishing, which is so welcome and appreciated.  I count my blessings every day as his proud father and know that my son’s lifetime trajectory has changed with his love of fishing and being outdoors.  His focus on fishing has him reading and researching about fish, learning about all the local fishing holes, biking to get a favorite spot, and socializing with other kids who love to fish. A new window into the natural world has opened that will feed his soul and help a young man find his grounding for his entire life. Our son's favorite camp BY FAR! Not only is Korty's Fish Camp his favorite, but he is now loving fishing outside of camp, and it's a great family activity that doesn't involve any screens. We have been going on fishing excursions and boat charters for 2 years now and will continue for years to come! The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and the kids love them. Plus, the kids get to keep their catch, and it is so tasty!
